Requirement: Republic of Korea OCONUS Security Analyst (Full-Time Temporary)
Job Description: Forge is seeking a qualified temporary (about a 2 month period) full-time Security Analyst to provide program management support and transfer material in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, identify risks and associated mitigation strategies and assess opportunities for process improvement. This position is located in the Republic of Korea (ROK) and will support the Naval Sea Systems Command's (NAVSEA) Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS). PEO IWS' mission is to develop, deliver and sustain operationally dominant combat systems to Sailors. PEO IWS 4.0 is responsible for engaging with Foreign Partners, coordinating with product-provider organizations within PEO IWS to adapt their products for the specific needs of these key allies, and for the management and execution of FMS cases. Additionally, this position will include Invited Contractor status under the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) sponsorship
Key Responsibilities: Key responsibilities of the candidate will be (but aren't limited to):
Provide recommendations and input to the US-Republic of Korea Navy (ROKN) Foreign Military Sales classified and unclassified material transfer process
Acts as primary shipping and receiving coordinator; checks for receipt, shipment, and delivery of government freight
Provide courier services in-country using USG vehicle between facilities and designated work locations for PEO IWS 4.0 personnel (e.g., commercial facilities, ROKN bases and ships)
Foster transparent communication with stakeholders involved in transportation, receipt and delivery and transfer of material
Control equipment inventory in accordance with U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and US Navy (USN) directives
Provide logistical support, including document preparation and necessary corrections, to preempt and quickly resolve issues in the classified and unclassified transfer process to and from the Continental United States
Research, verify, and determine proper methods for packing, preservation for transportation, storage and disposal of DoD materials
Build and maintain spreadsheets and databases and utilize to create metrics related data
Prepare draft responses, briefings, white papers and memorandums as required
Develop meeting minutes and action items, as needed Identify program risks and develop risk mitigation strategies; provide recommendations for resolution
Work with and coordinate ROK interactions with U.S. Navy program management and civilian / commercial personnel to ensure correct equipment and supporting personnel are available where required; this includes interactions with ROK commercial shipyards, ROKN Leadership, Shore Installations, and ROKN Ships
When needed, execute all functions of the Ship Rider and Guard positions
Conduct cross-training to all other Forge employees in ROK
Qualifications/Requirements:
The Candidate must have the ability to think strategically, act tactically, and display strong analytical and critical thinking skills. They must also build strong cross-group working relationships and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. We are looking for candidates with a Secret Security Clearance and DoW program management experience in the Asia-Pacific region.
Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 4.
5+ years of professional experience supporting Security Cooperation, DoD programmatic, FMS or international security storage and transfer programs
Highly Desired Qualifications:
Regional or functional experience in the Asia-Pacific region
Experience supporting cybersecurity and Information Systems Technology efforts, including protecting and restoring IT systems, services, networks, and capabilities
Experience supporting and safeguarding Communications Security (COMSEC) material
Limited working proficiency in the Korean language
