Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as a business partner to the relevant business manager and leads local finance teams to optimize the financial performance within an assigned division / business area. Each day, you will support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending the most appropriate business solutions.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Process Industries Division, Automation Business Area in Seoul, South Korea. Main stakeholders include the Local Division Manager, Global Business Line Controllers, Local and Global Business and Finance Managers.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Driving the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control process within your area of responsibility.
Leading, providing guidance, and facilitating best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
Ensuring timely and efficient communication with relevant internal local and global customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility.
Securing transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
Qualifications for the role
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling, reporting, and business partnering, preferably with multinational company.
Strong experience in business planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management.
Solid knowledge of SAP, SAP BW, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.
CPA/CA qualification would be an advantage
