To lead the delivery of complex New Product Introduction (NPI) projects, ensuring achievement of business objectives (scope, schedule, cost, quality). The Project Manager coordinates multidisciplinary teams, manages risk, resources, and stakeholder relationships, and drives continuous improvement in project execution.
- Management of large projects or multiple medium-sized projects/subsystems.
- Project Budget responsibility: Up to $10M+.
- Cross-functional coordination across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, productmanagement, and service.
- Global stakeholder engagement; travel flexibility required.
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline.
- Recognized Project/Programme Management qualification (e.g., Prince2, APM PMQ) or equivalent experience.
- Managing complex, multi-phase projects
- Working in global team environments.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing methods and PCP.
- Project planning, resource and risk management, budget control.
- Leadership, influencing, negotiation, and communication at all levels.
- Commercial awareness and business case development.
- Plan and manage the delivery of NPI projects ($5–10M+), ensuring adherence to agreed specifications, timescales, and budgets.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams (typically 10–30 members).
- Develop and maintain cross-functional project plans (WBS), resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain RAID logs.
- Ensure compliance with PCP, company standards, and external regulations.
- Monitor and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and management.
- Manage project budgets, costs, and business cases.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, communication, and change management.
- Support and coach team members may have line management responsibility.
- Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
- A successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete workstream of Field Trial Management of Genesis Programme as an initial workstream management.
