[MISSION]
This role is designed to drive operational efficiency and expertise across the delivery, installation, and commissioning phases. As the Site Coordinator, you will act as the central communication hub aligning field service engineers, customers, project managers, and internal departments to ensure a smooth transition from initial delivery to final on-site acceptance.
[KEY RESPONSIBILITY]
- Support delivery preparations, including coordinating schedules with customers and visiting the site to oversee the actual delivery process.
- Organize and coordinate site activities by verifying all necessary technical, logistical, and commercial conditions prior to execution.
- Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout the delivery, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Conduct comprehensive briefings and de-briefings for erection and commissioning engineers.
- Supervise site assignments by continuously monitoring project progress, costs, and schedules.
- Coordinate with the Finance department to ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
- Lead "lessons learned" meetings to share project findings and integrate valuable insights back into the company.
- Manage site punches effectively, including the preparation and handling of obstruction and delay notices.
- Assist the Project Manager with the final commercial closure of the project.
- Review service requests, process specifications, and prepare detailed quotations for installation and commissioning.
[REQUIREMENTS]
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with business knowledge (or a comparable qualification).
- Technical knowledge of turbo and/or screw compressor packages and related auxiliary equipment (e.g., heat exchangers, drives, controls).
- Very good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Practical experience in field service or a workshop environment.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across technical and commercial interfaces, such as Engineering, Production, Sourcing, Finance, and Aftermarket.
