Overview:
Sr. Product Specialist
THE POSITION
The Sr. Product Specialist is accountable for achieving and exceeding the sales and profit targets within a designated territory. Reporting to the Sr. Regional Sales Manager, the role develops long-term, positive customer relationships that build loyalty and confidence in Cordis — positioning Cordis as the preferred supplier.
Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Sales Performance & Territory Growth

Regional Sales Turnover: achieve / exceed sales and profit targets for the assigned territory, contributing to Cordis’ total regional sales

Key Account Management: independently own and grow your own accounts — driving unit growth, profitability, and market share. For strategic accounts and key opinion leaders (KOLs), engage jointly with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to build long-term partnerships
2. Customer Relationships & Clinical Support

Customer Satisfaction: build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support and service

In-Service Education & Training: deliver product education and hands-on in-service training to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care
3. Dealer / Distributor Management

Channel Partnership: manage and develop dealer / distributor relationships across the territory as a core part of the commercial model

Performance & Enablement: align dealers on targets, support order forecasting, and equip them through product training and sales enablement to drive demand

Operations & Compliance: monitor dealer sell-in / sell-through, inventory, and collateral; ensure all dealer transactions follow company policy and the Healthcare Compliance Policy

Teamwork: contribute constructively to sales meetings, account development, and day-to-day issue resolution across the regional team

Market Information Management: maintain accurate customer records and deliver timely, effective territory / account reports

Administration: manage samples and sales expenses within forecast / guidelines; maintain company equipment (vehicle, PC, mobile); manage consignment and expired stock per policy

Qualifications:
KEY EXPERIENCES / REQUIREMENTS:
-
4–7 years of experience in the medical device industry / healthcare sector, preferably in the medical device segment

Relevant sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth
-
Desirable: prior experience in interventional cardiology, radiology, or endovascular therapy areas, and prior medical device sales experience

Degree-level education and professional training, preferably in business studies
-
Required: health or related tertiary qualification
