Job Description:
This job is responsible for independently performing a variety of routine and non-routine support functions related to trade finance servicing by following established bank policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include processing trade transactions, performing follow-up tasks, providing middle office support, handling irregular cases, and ensuring compliance with internal policy and local regulatory requirements. Job expectations include proactively improving capabilities to drive operational excellence and support delivery of exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
Supports the processing of trade finance transactions, ensuring adherence to established procedures, practices, and service delivery standards
Reviews transaction details and assists in identifying and escalating suspicious or unusual activities in compliance with internal policies and local regulatory requirements
Assists in researching and handling trade transactions that involve exceptions or require special attention, escalating issues where necessary
Supports effective risk management by ensuring transactions are processed accurately and timely, while identifying and escalating potential risks
Maintains accurate records and documentation in line with internal control and audit requirements
Develops knowledge and competencies through on-the-job training and self-study
