Overview
The Sr. Accountant is responsible for tax management, statutory audit and internal control, customs duty filing, intercompany transactions, treasury, and cash flow management. This role reports to the Manager, Accounting for Korea and partners closely with APAC/Global Tax, APAC Treasury, local Finance teams, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations in Korea.

Support Korean tax filings and compliance activities, including VAT, corporate income tax, local tax, CBCR, BEPS, and other statutory reporting requirements.
Assist in Korean tax matters in partnership with the Global Tax team and support communications with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate tax reporting schedules and prepare supporting documentation for tax audits and compliance reviews.
Support statutory audit activities and maintain documentation related to SOX/internal control requirements.
Prepare and maintain customs duty filing materials and assist with reporting to the Korean customs authorities.
Prepare and maintain documentation for intercompany transactions, treasury activities, cash forecasts, and banking-related communications.
What You'll Bring to the Table
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of professional experience in accounting or finance, including at least 2 years of tax experience.
Experience with Korean tax compliance, statutory audits, SOX/internal controls, customs duty filing, and related reporting requirements.
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work effectively with local, APAC, and global stakeholders.
Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP, with strong analytical skills and confidence working with numbers and detailed financial data.
High energy, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to taking initiative, solving problems, and delivering timely results.
