Qnity Electronics Korea is looking for a Product Quality Engineer (Lithography) in Cheonan, Korea.
Key Roles& Responsibilities
- Ensure that our products and raw material specifications and control limits are established appropriately – incoming QC testing, supplier specification, product and raw material shelf life, etc.
- Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to establish& regularly improve process control plans& FMEAs for our products and related raw materials
- Respond to out of control and out of specifications raw materials and products, ensuring supplier performs an effective Root Cause Investigation (RCI) and implements Corrective/Preventive actions
- Facilitate and develop RCI and Corrective/Preventive actions for customer quality/performance complaint
- Participate in continuous improvement of the production and quality process.
- Prepare customer process change notification (PCN) letter, work with customer to resolve issues identified during their qualification testing
- Participate in customer audits and internal audits by International Organization for Standardization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as organic chemistry, polymer science or material science /engineering
- Thorough understanding of raw material and product chemistry along with analytical and functional characterization methods
- Experience working with customers or suppliers outside DuPont on technical projects such as raw material or product development, improvement projects, or problem resolution
- Good written and verbal communication skills both in Korean and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience using formal problem-solving methodologies such as QC 7 tools, N7, QC problem solving story, 8D, 5 why, FMEA, or others
- Expertise in organic synthesis or polymer chemistry/physics
- Working knowledge of Quality management skills such as SPC, FMEA, DOE, Six-sigma and use of statistical software
- 3+ years of experience working in the semiconductor process or semiconductor materials industry in a technical role (Engineering, R, Quality, Fab, Manufacturing etc.)
