We are seeking an experienced SPS Application Engineer to support Smart Power Stage (SPS) device testing on the ETS-800 platform. This role focuses on developing test solutions, supporting customers, and driving the successful development of Teradyne test systems for SPS applications.
Key Responsibilities
Develop test application solutions for SPS devices on ETS-800 systems
Provide technical support to SPS device manufacturers and design companies
Analyze and resolve complex test challenges related to SPS devices
Collaborate with internal Engineering and Product teams to deliver effective solutions
Translating customer requirements into practical test implementations
Prepare technical documentation and deliver presentations to customers
Qualifications
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Test Application Engineer
Intermediate or higher English communication skills
Strong project management, documentation, and presentation skills
Proven ability to work cross-functionally
Technical Expertise
Electronics
Strong understanding of Power Electronics
Solid knowledge of Smart Power Stage (SPS) architecture, including:
Gate driver integration
Power MOSFET integration
Protection features (OCP, OTP, UVLO, etc.)
Test Knowledge (Preferred)
SPS device testing
Power semiconductor or PMIC test experience
ETS-800 platform experience
Familiarity with ETS-88 / ETS-364 / ETS-600
Programming
Proficiency in one or more of the following:
C++ (preferred)
C#
Python
Visual Basic
Work Style
Operates with general direction and independently develops solutions
Work is evaluated at key milestones
Expected to deliver practical, innovative, and technically sound solutions
