The Role
As Service Manager South Korea, you will lead and scale our local service operations, ensuring world-class support to our customers. You will be responsible for building a strong service organization, driving operational excellence, and maintaining high system performance in the field.
In this role you work closely with global Service, Engineering, and Operations teams. You will play a critical role in strengthening customer relationships and supporting business growth in one of our most strategic markets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and expand the South Korea service team (Field Service Engineers and support staff)

Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical and customer issues

Ensure high system uptime and customer satisfaction through proactive service management

Develop and implement service processes, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives

Coordinate installations, maintenance, and upgrades of advanced metrology systems

Collaborate closely with global teams to ensure alignment on service strategy and execution

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders

Support the Country Manager in scaling local operations and service capabilities
Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Physics, or related)

Proven experience in semiconductor equipment service or support environments

Experience in leading or mentoring technical service teams

Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and customer environments

Ability to troubleshoot complex technical systems and manage escalations effectively

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Fluent in Korean and English

Willingness to travel within South Korea and occasionally internationally
