Team Introduction
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team helps brands grow on TikTok by connecting creativity, culture, media and commerce. Across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Account Management, Agency Partnerships and Marketing Science, we work with advertisers to unlock the full potential of short-form video, not just as a media channel, but as a new way for brands to build relevance, drive action and shape consumer behaviour.
About the position
We are looking for a highly driven and consultative digital advertising sales professional to join our Mid Market team in Korea. This role focuses on the vibrant and fast-paced Wellness, Food & Beverage, Fashion, and Beauty verticals.
You will be responsible for managing and scaling your own book of business while aggressively driving net-new acquisition. This role is for someone who is excited by how TikTok is changing the relationship between brands and consumers. You will partner with mid-market clients to grow their businesses through TikTok's advertising solutions, helping them move with speed, creativity, and commercial impact in one of the most dynamic spaces in media.
Responsibilities
- Manage and Grow Your Book: Own and scale a dedicated portfolio of mid-market accounts across the Wellness, F&B, Fashion, and Beauty verticals, building trusted relationships that expand advertiser revenue and unlock long-term business opportunities.
- Net New Acquisition: Actively hunt and drive net-new advertiser acquisition by identifying high-potential prospects, pitching TikTok's value proposition, and onboarding new clients to the platform.
- Cross-Functional (XFN) Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams—including Account Management, Operations, and Marketing—to ensure seamless campaign execution, solve client challenges, and deliver measurable business impact.
- Strategic Pitching: Develop data-led narratives, presentations, and sales proposals that translate client objectives into clear, persuasive TikTok growth and performance strategies.
- Pipeline Management: Manage your sales pipeline and partnership progress with discipline, ensuring both new acquisition opportunities and existing account up-sells move with clarity from early conversation through to execution.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification(s)
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of experience in digital advertising sales, business development, or partnerships.
- Proven "hunter" mentality with a strong track record of successfully acquiring net-new clients and managing an existing book of business.
- Strong commercial instincts, with the ability to build trusted client relationships through excellent communication and presentation.
- Highly adaptable and self-motivated, with the ability to ramp up quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualification(s)
- Direct experience working with clients or agencies in the Wellness, Food & Beverage, Fashion, or Beauty verticals.
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, user acquisition, and mid-market business dynamics.
- Proven experience collaborating seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams to drive client success and operational efficiency.
- Experience with global eCommerce platforms or social platforms.
