We are seeking voyage operator, Business Operations Execution, with highly motivated and qualified talent for the following roles and responsibilities.
"The successful candidate will have the opportunity to advance into a Seoul-based Voyage Operations Specialist role, gaining hands-on exposure to global voyage operations.
Job Description:
Purpose of the Role:
-
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Voyage Operations Specialist to support the planning, execution, and optimization of vessel voyages across assigned trades.

The role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, cost-conscious, and environmentally responsible voyage execution by coordinating closely with vessel Masters, agents, port offices, capacity management, tonnage allocation, stowage planners, bunker/energy sourcing teams, and other internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will act as a key communication bridge between vessels and shore-based teams, while using digital voyage management tools and operational data to support schedule reliability, cost control, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute voyage schedules, coastal rotations, and port call plans.

Coordinate with Masters, agents, ports, stowage planners, bunker teams, and internal stakeholders.

Monitor voyage progress, ETA/ETD, port congestion, weather risks, bunker status, and operational disruptions.

Optimize voyage cost, bunker consumption, speed, port stay, and schedule recovery.

Plan and coordinate bunker arrangements in line with voyage schedule, vessel requirements, port availability, fuel strategy, and standing instructions.

Ensure accurate reporting of ARR/DEP, SOF, ROB, draft, bunker data, and operational remarks.

Support compliance with CII, EU ETS, Fuel EU Maritime, IMO DCS, and biofuel/B30 reporting.

Handle irregular situations such as typhoons, port closures, berth delays, strikes, and vessel/cargo incidents.

Support continuous improvement in voyage performance, cost efficiency, data quality, and agent performance.
Job Requirements:

Must have at least two years’ experience in shipping service

Strong analytical and decision-making skills

Able to work independently as well being part of a team

Able to prioritize workflow to meet deadlines and have a sense of urgency

IT computer competence (office programs)

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
