The Role

Pearson is seeking a Lead Specialist, Sales to drive growth across a portfolio of high-value regional accounts, helping customers solve critical workforce, talent, and learning challenges through innovative solutions.
In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and leading complex sales engagements from initial discovery through successful close. You'll work closely with senior decision-makers to understand their priorities, align solutions to business outcomes, and create lasting customer value.

What You'll Own
Own and grow a portfolio of strategic regional accounts with significant revenue potential.
Drive new logo acquisition while identifying expansion opportunities within existing customer relationships.
Lead complex sales opportunities from discovery through close, including stakeholder mapping, executive engagement, account planning, and deal strategy.
Design integrated, multi-product solutions that align customer needs with business outcomes.
Partner with pricing, contracting, legal, finance, and RevOps stakeholders to develop effective commercial proposals.
Act as a trusted advisor by connecting customer challenges with Pearson's broader portfolio of solutions and expertise.
Maintain strong forecasting discipline, pipeline management, and sales governance practices.
Mentor peers and contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices across the regional sales organisation.
About You
You are a commercially minded sales professional with a proven ability to manage complex enterprise opportunities and build relationships with senior stakeholders. You enjoy developing strategic account plans, navigating multi-stakeholder environments, and delivering measurable business outcomes for customers.
You'll likely bring:
Experience managing high-value enterprise or strategic accounts.
