Senior Executive, Delegate Sales & Group Marketing

Job Description
As a Senior Executive, Delegate Sales & Group Marketing, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, recruiting qualified buyers, and supporting the Group’s overall marketing and communications activities. You will be responsible for selling delegate packages, engaging corporate decision-makers, recruiting buyers for B2B meetings, and actively managing marketing activities across Asia Events Group and its event brands.
This is a hands-on, performance-driven role with clear targets covering sales results, buyer recruitment, marketing execution, brand communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Your Responsibilities
High-Volume Outreach
- Make a high number of daily outbound calls to corporate companies, both local and international, to secure paid delegate participation at Asia Events Group’s conferences.
- Consistently achieve weekly and monthly call, conversion, and sales targets.
Buyer Recruitment
- Identify, recruit, and manage qualified buyers, importers, distributors, corporate decision-makers, and relevant industry stakeholders to attend B2B meetings with international exporters.
- Ensure assigned buyer recruitment quotas are achieved for each event.
Client Relationship & Retention
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior-level corporate clients.
- Identify client needs, upselling opportunities, and opportunities for repeat participation to increase event revenue.
Market Expansion & Research
- Conduct market research to identify new leads, evaluate potential clients, and continuously expand the company’s market database.
- Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers to increase company visibility and market reach.
Appointment Setting
- Schedule qualified appointments with potential exhibitors, sponsors, delegates, buyers, and business partners for the Asia Events Group sales team.
- Coordinate Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and in-person meetings effectively.
Group Marketing & Communications
Oversee and actively execute Group marketing activities across four key areas:
1. Marketing & Communications Management
- Manage, maintain, and continuously update the Group Marketing & Communications Master Tasklist.
- Ensure marketing campaigns, content, communications, and promotional deliverables remain on schedule.
- Coordinate marketing priorities and deadlines across multiple event projects.
2. Social Media & Event Brand Management
- Manage Asia Events Group’s corporate social media channels and individual event-brand social media accounts.
- Plan, coordinate, create, schedule, and publish relevant content across social media platforms.
- Maintain consistent positioning and messaging across the Group and its event brands.
3. Branding, Copywriting & Corporate Communications
- Manage and maintain Asia Events Group’s corporate branding and individual event-brand communications.
- Develop and review marketing copy, EDMs, event announcements, promotional materials, corporate profiles, website content, social media content, and other communications.
- Ensure all external communications are professional, accurate, consistent, and aligned with the company’s brand positioning.
4. Media Partners & Stakeholder Management
- Identify, engage, secure, and manage media partners and relevant stakeholders for Asia Events Group and its event brands.
- Maintain relationships with media organizations, industry associations, supporting organizations, government agencies, and other strategic stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-promotional activities, media partnerships, publicity opportunities, and stakeholder communications.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Report sales progress, call activities, buyer recruitment, marketing activities, and project status to management.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, and Operations teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, clients, buyers, media partners, stakeholders, and marketing activities.
- Support other event-related sales, marketing, recruitment, and communications initiatives as directed by management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Daily activity: Minimum 80–100 outbound calls.
- Monthly sales: Achieve assigned revenue targets.
- Buyer recruitment: Meet or exceed confirmed buyer quotas for assigned projects.
- Client conversion: Maintain consistent cold-to-warm and lead-to-sale conversion performance.
- Database growth: Continuously develop and maintain qualified leads in the CRM.
- Marketing execution: Ensure assigned marketing and communications activities are delivered according to the master tasklist and deadlines.
- Social media: Maintain consistent and timely activity across Group and event-brand social media channels.
- Media & stakeholder engagement: Achieve assigned media partnership and stakeholder engagement targets.
Requirements
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Minimum 3 years of telesales experience, including at least 2 years of cold-calling experience.
- Proven track record in performance-based sales roles, preferably within the MICE, events, conferences, exhibitions, media, or B2B industry.
- Experience in marketing, social media management, copywriting, corporate communications, or media relations is highly advantageous.
- Strong writing, communication, client engagement, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, event brands, and marketing activities simultaneously.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented, and able to perform under pressure.
- Presentable, confident, and comfortable communicating with senior executives and corporate decision-makers.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, social media platforms, and online meeting tools such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams.
