At Amazon, HR Partners (HRP) provide high-judgment HR support to managers across levels at scale, enabling them to become force multipliers for customer impact and positive employee experience. They demonstrate advanced knowledge of HR policies, processes, and tools, acting as trusted consultants to managers and senior managers. HRPs work backwards from the voice of the manager to deliver personalized experiences and drive large-scale initiatives using technology and simplified processes that match the speed and agility of our business. They operate independently as subject matter experts with deep knowledge of regional programs and policies, collaborating extensively with PXT teams including HR Business Partners, Employee Relations, IXT, Legal, and others to provide integrated people solutions.
We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our team as a Human Resources Specialist. The individual will be an integral part of the HR Team and will report to the Senior Manager, BizOps, Expansions, and Workforce Transformation.

Key job responsibilities
- Escalate broken processes and employee experiences. Continuously dive deep to find new ways to improve the employee experience.
- Handle employee services related requests or inquires via Joint Labor Management Council and/or other employee communication channels.
- Manages confidential and sensitive employee information and adhere to strict data privacy standards.
- Support HRPs to arrange and coordinate HR related events like Labor-Management Council (LMC) and key workforce compliance related meetings.
- Compile data and provide HR reports for external reporting requirements.
- Assist in ad-hoc HR projects and support other HR functions as necessary.
- Respond to internal and external employee services related inquiries or requests via local HR team as an initial point of contact and provide the appropriate assistance where available.
- Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the HR team (Employee Relation Center, Employee Services, Payroll, Builder Experience Team and HRBPs).
