About the Team / Role Summary
Qnity delivers next‑generation technology solutions through industry‑leading innovation, deep materials science expertise, and world‑class manufacturing capabilities.
Within the Semiconductor Materials business, the ACTS Development Engineering team supports R and customer evaluations by fabricating R samples, conducting process condition evaluations, and ensuring high‑quality sample preparation.The Model Shop Technician operates process equipment, prepares samples, supports evaluations, and maintains shop operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform tasks safely following EHS and semiconductor lab safety standards
- Prepare R and customer evaluation samples (dispensing, mixing, sub‑packaging, production support)
- Conduct process condition evaluations and operate tools per SOPs
- Operate and maintain lab/manufacturing equipment
- Manage sample logistics, inventory, material movement, and documentation
- Maintain accurate experiment records following standardized methods
- Participate in troubleshooting, basic equipment maintenance, and process setup
- Support continuous improvement activities and collaboration within the team
Qualifications& Preferred Experience
- Strong documentation and data management skills
- Ability to apply standardized evaluation methods andensure result reliability
- Strong communication, teamwork, multitasking, and problem‑solving abilities
- Experience in semiconductor/electronic materials labs or manufacturing preferred
- Experience with process evaluation, equipment operation, or sample preparation a plus
Education
- Associate degree or higher (Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, or related field preferred)
