Key Objectives of this Role:
Customer Communication and Support
- Provide personalized service for Visteon Supply Chain account and manage specific customer expectations/ requests.
- Proactively communicating with customers about any issues or disruptions in the supply chain.
- Act as the main customer point of contact and coordinate across internal departments to meet their needs.
- Holding regular meetings with customer to review performance metrics and address any issues.
Supply Chain Visibility and Transparency
- Work close with customers to forecast demand, anticipate needs, and align on Visteon production planning
- Provide customers with full visibility into the supply chain to foster trust and better planning.
- Sharing information proactively about potential delays, disruptions, or changes to inventory availability.
Order Management and Fulfillment
- Monitoring customer delivery performance
- Communicating delivery schedules and any potential delays in coordination with Visteon
- Lead cross functional teams to eliminate any fulfillment risks and delays.
- Providing regular updates to customers on their ordering status.
Inventory Management
- Ensuring that inventory levels align with customer demand and specific customer agreements
- Monitor stock levels in real time and lead actions to ensure replenishments are sent on time.
Crisis Management
- Managing disruptions to ensure minimal impact on customers.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions such as natural disasters, labor strikes, or transport delays
Launch Readiness
- Monitor and ensure launch of new programs or engineering changes according to the project milestones defined with the customer
- Define cross-functional actions to mitigate and solve any potential delay
Key Year One Deliverables:
- Conduct quarterly surveys to gather customer feedback and insights.
- Customer Ratings: Monitor and track customer ratings to assess satisfaction levels.
- Develop strategies to enhance customer experience based on rating trends.
- Ensure the successful launch of new programs or engineering changes according to project milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional actions to address and mitigate any potential delays.
- Delivery Performance: Monitor and report on delivery performance metrics.
- Develop and execute plans to minimize the impact of disruptions on customers.
Qualification, Experience and Skills:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in global logistics, and supply chain management within a multinational organization.
Knowledge:
- Professional certification in supply chain / Logistics are preferable.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (SAP and QAD preferrable).
- Proven experience in managing complex supply chain across multiple countries.
- Strong understating of logistics, regulatory environments, and economic dynamics in the region.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Expertise in automotive or electronics manufacturing supply chains is a plus.
- Experience with ERP systems, demand forecasting tools, and logistics management software
