Korea Operations Manager
Location: Seoul, Korea
Position Summary:
The Korea Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all operational activities for the Korea business, including supply chain, logistics, inventory management, DTC and retail channel operations, vendor management, regulatory compliance, and sales operations support. This role serves as the primary operational liaison between Korea customers, partners, service providers, and simplehuman headquarters to ensure efficient execution, operational excellence, and business growth.
Operations & Supply Chain Management:

Manage end-to-end order fulfillment, inventory planning, warehousing, transportation, and logistics operations to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency.
- Manage relationships with warehouse and logistics partners to ensure efficient fulfillment, inventory accuracy, cost control, and service excellence.
- Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, and replenishment plans to support sales growth while optimizing inventory investment.
Channel & Partner Operations:

Serve as the primary operational point of contact for Korea DTC channels, including simplehuman.co.kr and Naver Store, as well as retail and distribution partners.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless order processing, product availability, customer satisfaction, and successful execution of promotions and product launches.
Vendor Management:

Own and manage relationships with all operational vendors and service providers supporting the Korea business.
- Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate service agreements, and identify opportunities to improve service levels, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Regulatory Compliance & Product Launch Support:

Lead regulatory and import compliance activities for the Korea market, including researching product category requirements, coordinating product certifications, managing third-party testing and compliance vendors, and securing approvals from relevant Korean government agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local import, customs, labeling, safety, and environmental regulations.
Business Operations & Reporting:

Partner with Sales, Finance, and HQ teams to support forecasting, business planning, KPI reporting, and operational decision-making.
- Develop and improve operational processes, controls, and standard operating procedures to support continued business growth.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, logistics, sales operations, or related functions.
- Experience managing vendors, logistics providers, and external business partners.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, international trade, customs clearance, and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills with experience using ERP or business systems.
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Native-level Korean and professional-level English.
- Experience supporting DTC/e-commerce channels and retail operations preferred.
