As an Sr Human Resources Business Partner (MSD Division - Atotech an MKS Brand) at MKS Korea, you will partner with business leaders, managers, employees, and cross-functional teams to support organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, workforce planning, and business performance.
In this role, you will report directly to the Senior HR Manager, Country HR Business Partner, Korea, and partner closely with them to align business priorities, people strategies, and country HR objectives while ensuring a consistent and effective employee experience across the organization.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders, helping align people strategies with business priorities while providing both strategic and hands-on HR support across office and site-based environments. This role requires regular engagement with leaders and employees across multiple locations, including manufacturing and technical organizations.
You Will Make an Impact By:

Partnering with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies that support business objectives and organizational effectiveness.

Leading talent management processes, including succession planning, talent reviews, leadership development, and workforce planning.

Providing coaching and guidance to leaders on employee relations, performance management, organizational design, and team effectiveness.

Driving employee engagement initiatives and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) and cross-functional teams to implement HR programs, change initiatives, and organizational improvements.

Leveraging workforce insights and HR analytics to identify trends and recommend solutions that support business success.

Travel Requirements: Regular travel is required within Korea. (3 days Jangan, 1 day Yongin, 1 day Remote)
Skills You Bring:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field.

10+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant HR Business Partner experience.

Experience supporting business leaders in a manufacturing, engineering, technology, industrial, or other complex operational environment.

Strong knowledge of talent management, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, and Korean labor law.

Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders while building trusted relationships across all levels of the organization.

Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies to business priorities and organizational goals.

Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

Fluent Korean and business-level English proficiency.

Ability to balance strategic HR partnership with hands-on execution in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an HR team structure while independently supporting assigned business organizations.

Strong collaboration skills with the ability to maintain alignment with country, regional, and global HR partners.

Ability to balance business advocacy with enterprise-wide people and organizational priorities.

Ability to effectively partner with Operations, EHS, Facilities, Finance, and other support functions when employee and organizational considerations are involved.
Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting manufacturing sites, engineering organizations, technology centers, laboratories, or technical functions.

Experience working within a multinational and matrixed organization.

Experience partnering directly with General Managers, Site Leaders, or senior functional leaders.

Experience leading organizational change and transformation initiatives.

Professional HR certification (SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent).

Demonstrated success in talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives
Supervisory Scope:

Reporting Relationships: Individual contributor role with no direct reports. Reporting to Country HRBP, Korea
Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

Hybrid work arrangement requiring regular on-site presence.

Frequent interaction with employees and leaders in both office and site-based environments.

Regular travel between the Jangan site and Yongin main site.

Ability to attend meetings, conduct employee discussions, and move throughout office and light industrial/manufacturing environments.

Ability to remain stationary and work at a computer for extended periods as required.

Occasional participation in site walk-throughs and employee engagement activities within operational facilities.
