Cosmetic Safety Assessor
ACE Clinical Research Co., Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cosmetic Safety Assessor to support cosmetic product safety assessment and international cosmetic regulatory projects.
We are looking for an experienced professional with hands-on experience in cosmetic safety assessment, including CPSR preparation and sign-off. The role will primarily involve cosmetic product safety assessment, CPSR preparation and review, PIF preparation and management, ingredient safety assessment, and regulatory documentation for global cosmetic markets, including the EU and UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cosmetic product safety assessments in compliance with applicable EU/UK regulations.
- Prepare, review, and sign Cosmetic Product Safety Reports (CPSRs) in accordance with applicable EU/UK requirements.
- Conduct safety assessments of cosmetic ingredients and finished products.
- Advise on ingredient safety, labeling, and claims substantiation.
- Prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs).
- Support regulatory submissions and notifications as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support safety assessment, regulatory documentation, processes, and data management.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in cosmetic safety assessment.
- Prior experience as a Cosmetic Safety Assessor, including reviewing and signing CPSRs (CPSR sign-off), is required.
- Hands-on experience in preparing and maintaining Product Information Files (PIFs).
- Strong knowledge of toxicology, cosmetic ingredients, and cosmetic safety assessment methodologies.
- Solid understanding of EU/UK cosmetic regulations and safety assessment requirements.
- Experience with international cosmetic regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Degree in toxicology, chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
Working Arrangement
- Candidates currently residing in South Korea or overseas candidates who are willing and able to relocate to South Korea may apply.
- For overseas candidates, visa sponsorship may be considered depending on qualifications, experience, and eligibility.
- On-site, hybrid, or remote working arrangements may be considered depending on the candidate’s experience and role requirements.
- Full-time, part-time, project-based, freelance, or contract arrangements may be considered depending on qualifications, experience, availability, and business needs.
- Salary, working hours, and working arrangements will be discussed and determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and scope of responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience preparing and signing CPSRs independently.
- Experience working with EU/UK cosmetic regulatory requirements.
- Experience supporting cosmetic brands with international market entry or regulatory compliance.
- Professional qualifications, certifications, or formal training related to toxicology or cosmetic safety assessment are a plus.
