The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team plays a critical role in conducting close-loop data-driven business iterations. As business intelligence specialists and data analysts, our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also in proactively finding actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes. Our end-to-end data solution reduces the gap between the business teams and technical teams, and achieves real ‘intelligence’ in the iteration cycle. About the Team:

The Shopee Korea BI team connects commercial strategy, financial performance, and data to drive the growth and profitability of Shopee's cross-border business. We work across Commercial, Operations, Marketing, and Finance to turn complex, fragmented data into clear narratives that move senior leadership to action. This FP&A and business planning role is for someone who enjoys shaping budgets, forecasts, and P&L insights into decisions — with a front-row seat to how a multi-market e-commerce engine runs under the hood.

Job Description:

Business & Financial Performance Analysis

Analyze topline, revenue, cost, margin, and profitability to identify key drivers, risks, and improvement areas
Review actuals against budget, forecast, and prior periods, explaining material variances across markets, segments, and products

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

Lead the annual budget, periodic forecast, and year-end projection processes for the cross-border business
Build revenue, cost, and margin forecasts from historical trends and business inputs, and run scenario and sensitivity analysis

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L and performance reports for senior management and regional FP&A
Translate complex data into concise management presentations and data-driven recommendations
Improve and automate reporting processes using Excel, SQL, and BI tools

Topline, 매출, 비용, Margin, 수익성을 분석하여 주요 Driver, 리스크, 개선 기회 도출
실적을 Budget·Forecast·전년과 비교하고, 국가·Segment·상품별 주요 Variance 원인 분석

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

크로스보더 사업의 연간 Budget, 정기 Forecast, 연말 Projection 프로세스 주도
과거 실적과 사업부 Input 기반의 매출·비용·Margin Forecast 수립 및 Scenario·민감도 분석 수행

리포팅·Stakeholder Communication

경영진 및 Regional FP&A 대상 월간·분기·연간 P&L 및 성과 리포트 작성
복잡한 데이터를 간결한 경영 보고 자료와 데이터 기반 제안으로 전환
Excel, SQL, BI Tool을 활용한 리포팅 프로세스 개선·자동화

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
3+ years in FP&A, business planning, finance, BI, consulting, or a related analytical role
Strong understanding of P&L structure and the key revenue, cost, and margin drivers of a business
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) a plus
Excellent communication skills for both financial and non-financial stakeholders
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines

재무, 회계, 경제, 경영, 공학, 통계 또는 관련 전공 학사 이상
FP&A, Business Planning, Finance, BI, Consulting 또는 관련 분석 직무 경력 3년 이상
P&L 구조 및 주요 매출·비용·Margin Driver에 대한 이해
복잡한 데이터를 실행 가능한 인사이트로 전환하는 분석 역량
고급 Excel·PowerPoint 활용 능력 (SQL 및 Tableau·Power BI·Looker 등 BI Tool 우대)
재무·비재무 Stakeholder 모두에게 명확히 전달하는 커뮤니케이션 역량
세부사항에 강하고, 촉박한 기한 내 높은 품질의 결과물을 제공할 수 있는 분
