About the Role
We are expanding our RWE/HEOR team, with growing focus on two emerging areas in the Korean market: the growing use of real-world data in post-marketing evidence generation, risk management planning (RMP), and regulatory decision-making, as well as multi-source real-world data networks and research ecosystems.
Experience in either area is welcomed but not required. Strong RWE/HEOR professionals with a solid methodological foundation are encouraged to apply and grow into these evolving domains.
Responsibilities
- Carry out work relating to HEOR business areas (database studies, longitudinal retrospective/prospective observational studies, cross-sectional surveys of patients/healthcare providers/payers, patient-reported outcomes research, etc.).
- Work with supervision, independently and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks.
- Develop, review, implement, and execute prospective or retrospective outcomes research protocols, statistical analysis plans, and reports.
- Local data sourcing, search, collection, and generation; develop analysis plans and provide input to complex health economic models.
- Involve in business development and internal initiatives (partial proposal development based on client RFPs, internal knowledge sharing, and presentations to IQVIA colleagues).
- Project management and client liaison; attend client and external meetings and present research findings and analyses.
- Draft, revise, submit, and present abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for publication and conference proceedings.
- (Plus) Contribute to the application of real-world data in post-marketing evidence generation, including risk management planning (RMP), safety evaluation, drug utilization assessment, and post-authorization evaluation of treatment effectiveness and safety in support of evolving regulatory requirements.
- (Plus) Contribute to multi-site RWE studies using diverse real-world data sources, including hospital EMR data, and support the expansion of data partnerships and research networks through site onboarding, data governance, IRB/DRB strategies, and standardized analytical approaches.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in outcomes research using real-world data sources (e.g., claims databases and hospital EMR data) and generating real-world evidence.
- Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Epidemiology, Pharmacoepidemiology, Public Health, Health/Medical Informatics, or a related field, with demonstrated experience in RWD-based research projects, publications, or scientific communications.
- Working knowledge of at least one statistical programming language (SAS, R, or Python).
- Understanding of the Korean healthcare system and pharmaceutical industry environment.
- Demonstrable analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills.
