JD (or equivalent) required; must be qualified to practice law in the US and/or Korea
8+ years of post-qualification private practice and/or in-house legal counsel experience
Exceptional collaborative skills to work across various firm functions and capabilities, effectively challenging conventional wisdom
Ability to operate independently, with excellent judgment
Demonstrates ability to handle increasing volume, complexity and variety of work (e.g., expanding beyond contracts) without sacrificing quality or impact
Builds trust-based relationships (e.g., with Associate Partners, and Partners and/or office/ Firm Functions leadership) and works directly with them /is sought after by them directly; known for expertise and ability to problem solve on most difficult contracts
Ability to have difficult conversations when needed with respect to risk (and strong judgment on relative risk, and which battles to pick)
Excellent organizational capabilities, including the ability to initiate tasks independently and see them through to completion
Exceptional time management to meet your responsibilities in a complex and largely autonomous work environment
Ability to work in-person and travel as needed (team schedules and office locations may vary)
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English and Korean, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels
