Your role:

Sales Target & Business Delivery
Execute sales strategy and deliver monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales achievement for assigned territory and major accounts according to established sales policies.
Monitor sales performance, identify risks and opportunities, and take proactive actions to achieve or exceed targets.

Territory & Market Coverage
Expand market coverage within assigned territory by managing both direct customers and distributor-linked end customers.
Identify growth opportunities across Pharma, Biotech, CxO, QC, academia, research institutes, and emerging accounts where relevant to the territory.
Develop and execute Major Account plans by analyzing current revenue structure, end-customer purchasing data, workflow context, and initiative-based growth opportunities.
Explain account business beyond run-rate by clarifying who bought, what they bought, for which workflow, and where additional growth can be created.

Workflow-based Solution Selling
Understand customer workflows and decision-making processes, and position Merck solutions to solve workflow challenges and reduce customer decision risk.
Move beyond product explanation by helping customers make the next decision through insight discovery, opportunity qualification, de-risking, and execution.

Initiative Execution & Growth Conversion
Convert strategic initiatives into measurable sales outcomes by linking customer needs, workflow opportunities, product portfolio, and execution plans.
Build customer-level action plans for relevant initiatives and track progress through pipeline, conversion, and revenue impact.

Forecast Accuracy & Data Discipline
Improve forecast accuracy by managing Base, Risk, Project, and Growth Driver assumptions with clear evidence.
Maintain customer information, opportunity records, purchasing insights, and relevant documents in SFDC and other appropriate databases.

Customer Relationship & Stakeholder Management
Build and manage positive relationships with customers and distributors.
Share sales leads, customer feedback, competitor information, and market insights with Marketing, Sales Specialist, Tech Service, Global/Regional stakeholders, and other relevant teams.

Commercial Execution & Risk Management
Respond to complex customer inquiries, negotiate within authority, manage strategic pricing discussions, and monitor receivables and credit conditions to minimize business risk.
Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Life Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, Business, or related fields.

3 - 5 years of Sales experience in Life Science, Pharma, Biotech, Diagnostics, or related industries is preferred.
-
Experience in account management, territory management, distributor collaboration, workflow-based solution selling, or technical sales is preferred.

Fluent in Korean and proficient in English is preferred.
