Based in Seoul, South Korea, this role will be reporting to the Senior Director, Content Planning and working closely with the Content team and responsible for content discovery strategy and partner content management.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Collaborate with Content team and cross-functional teams to define priorities and plans to improve content discovery experiences to drive viewership
Responsible for operating and managing content display on the service.
Monitor and analyze content discovery to develop a content programming strategy on the Viki Service
Monitor content display on various devices and proactively recommend and build up improvement plans
Support product updates and feature developments related to Content
Work closely with the marketing team for content promotion for key markets.
Requirements:
Min. 3-6 years experience in platform services.
Fluent verbal & written skills and bilingual in Korean and English
Understanding of overall media industry and OTT services
Sensitive to market trend change to propose strategy or investment changes against competitors
Proficient in utilizing data to drive decision-making
Able to prioritize projects and drive progress forward in changing environment
Makes decisions and builds long term solutions (scalable, performant, extensible, maintainable)
Preferred experience in working with product/tech team
Able to work on-site
