The Cohen Clinic network in Asia offers a unique opportunity to serve U.S. military families stationed at five U.S. military bases in the region. Point Clinical Services PLLC delivers clinical services at the Cohen Clinics. This position will be located on Camp Humphreys, Pyeongtaek, South Korea. Eligible candidates must already be located in South Korea, be a US citizen, and have SOFA status.
What you’ll do
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Clinic Director, this role serves as a key leader within the Cohen Clinic, ensuring efficient daily operations and exceptional client experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive, with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include overseeing clinic operations, optimizing patient flow, supporting front-office processes, and ensuring high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day clinic operations.
- Ensure a positive, welcoming, and efficient client experience from registration through appointment completion.
- Optimize patient flow and scheduling processes to maximize operational efficiency.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits to support accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Ensure patient registration, demographic information, and insurance data are complete and accurate.
- Monitor front-office performance and implement process improvements as needed.
- Support compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Clinic Director to coordinate and maintain all CARF accreditation readiness activities, including documentation compliance, staff training records, policy currency and preparation for on-site surveys.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless clinic operations.
- Analyze operational metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction.
- Serve as the Clinic’s point of contact with the Finance and Billing teams. Support financial data collection, trend analysis, research, reporting, etc.
- Manage the Clinic’s fiscal operations, to include budgeting, accounts receivables and payables, reconciliations, financial reporting, and entering invoices and submitting credit card expense reports in a timely manner. Work with the Intake Coordinator and Clinic Director to coordinate the managed care billing process, ensuring timely and accurate patient registration, verifying patient insurance eligibility, copay collections, and care fund approvals, managing local relationships with 3rd party insurance, and ensuring that the Clinic is in compliance with contractual and reimbursement policies
- Work with the Clinic Director and credentialing manager to ensure clinician license information is up to date (CAQH) for 3rd party insurance
- Maintain and monitor all financial records, to include accounts receivable and claims in clearinghouse, to ensure accuracy, completeness of data and compliance with state and federal rules and regulations
- Assist clients with billing-related matters; assist clients and/or staff in resolving insurance-related problems
- Establish policies and procedures regarding risk management and business continuity
What’s required
- Bachelor’s degree or demonstrated progress toward a bachelor’s from accredited college or university with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience working with patient registration, 3rd-party payers, billing, posting, and adjudication of claims, preferred experience with behavioral health or other outpatient healthcare settings
- At least 3 years of experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial data
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with HIPAA regulations, patient privacy standards, and the handling of protected health information (PHI). Experience supervising a team.

The hourly pay range for this role is $33.90 - $40.87 (USD) , which does not include discretionary annual bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
This position requires limited access to Protected Health Information (PHI) to carry out identified job responsibilities. The type of PHI to which this position will have access, and any conditions on such access must be approved and documented prior to receiving such access.
