Job Summary
As SmartOSC continues to expand in Korea, we are looking for a Presales Solution Architect to drive large-scale digital transformation opportunities across the eCommerce and Finance sectors. In this client-facing role, you will act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients — shaping solution strategies and translating complex business challenges into scalable technology solutions.
Location: Seoul, Korea
1. RESPONSIBILITIES:
❖ Lead architecture design for system integration projects involving hybrid / multi-cloud environments and modern application platforms.
❖ Maintain a pulse on industry trends across eCommerce and Finance, translating insights into solution offerings that address current market needs.
❖ Work closely with local sales teams to develop and present solution architecture, and conduct demos and POCs (in collaboration with HQ) within existing and new client accounts.
❖ Engage with clients to understand their technical and business requirements in depth — from initial meetings and opportunity discussions through to RFPs, RFQs, and inbound inquiries.
❖ Lead proposal development, ensuring proposals are comprehensive, competitive, and aligned with client requirements.
❖ Work alongside delivery teams to structure programs that break complex problems into achievable solutions, facilitating effective estimation and planning.
❖ Serve as a technical advisor to clients and the sales team
2. REQUIREMENTS
❖ Minimum of 10 years’ experience in technical consulting, presales, solution architecture, or similar roles.
❖ Experience in enterprise integration, system architecture, and the software delivery lifecycle.
❖ Experience in eCommerce or Finance sectors is a strong plus.
❖ Demonstrated success in developing proposals, technical documentation, and solution recommendations that meet client needs with precision and value.
❖ Good English communication skills, Fluent Korean with excellent presentation skills and the ability to simplify technical topics for business audiences.
❖ Strong relationship-building skills, fostering collaboration with colleagues and clients.
❖ Skilled at logically breaking down complex problems into simpler components for estimation and planning.
❖ Experience working with global delivery teams or offshore / onshore models is a plus.
❖ Strong business acumen and the confidence to hold strategic discussions at the executive level.
❖ Good understanding of modern Data & AI trends — not just in theory, but in how they support business growth and client outcomes
