BASIC FUNCTION
Overseas sales manager manages the export business for the assigned customers in the market to maximize sales, volumes and revenues and ensure the right direction and strategy is in place to deliver on the sales objectives.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Sales Development & Execution
Accountable for achieving budgeted sales volumes, prices and profit margin in Taiwan & Other export market (incl. Inter-company)
Coordinates all necessary internal resources to obtain objectives
Discovering opportunities in other potential markets and involve R&D, Marketing support
Contributes to the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
2) Key Customer Management (OEM brands, Distributors)
Ensures continuity of the relationship with the counterparts and operates at the working level in the counterparts’ organizations.
Prepares the distribution/penetration plan in line with the Financial Plan and implements the sales strategies.
Expand the distribution of categories (Bidet-seat, Smart toilet, Shower etc.) to enhance penetration & brand awareness in responsible market
Initiates and negotiates tailor made actions, discuss with customers.
Ensures availability of goods / deliverables in cooperation with logistics.
3) Regular responsible area
Contract management by yearly (rebates, incentives, commissions, logistics etc.)
Financial management by month (Sales, Profit, Pricing etc.)
Risk management by month (Accounts Receivable, Payable, Credit balance etc.)
Demand Planning (PSI), Customer stock management by weekly
Skills/Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years of sales experience coupled with extensive background in export business
Fluency in Chinese and English (Chinese is a high priority)
Experience of managing multiple stakeholders’ interests in a complex environment with good interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of China/Taiwan market, and preferably backgrounds of Kitchen & Bath business
Ability to establish and maintain desirable relationships with customers and business partners while being always in compliance with Kohler business ethics
University graduate in business related disciplines
