Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions Segment Team in South Korea mainly involves with Datacenter Segment but role can be changed due to the business condition and situation.
Main stakeholders are Global CSP (Cloud Service Providers), Colocation, Telecom Company (SK Broadband, LG U+, KT cloud, etc,), Asset management company, Datacenter Investor, GC (General Contractor), Consultants.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicates value proposition to customers.
Identifying and driving the development of new opportunities in the datacenter market
Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
Supporting quotation preparation and costing activities for MV/LV products in collaboration with internal teams and partners.
Analyzing customer needs, stakeholder landscape, and competitor activities in the datacenter segment.
Qualifications for the role
5 - 10 years of experience in Electrification field, with sales experience in electrical equipment (Mainly MV, LV switchgear)
Strong understanding of market & Stakeholder structure of datacenter with solid knowledge of datacenter business
Enhanced knowledge of MV/LV distribution solution
Strong sales skills backed by electrical engineering knowledge
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Business-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.
