Overview
Streamline Defense is seeking a Theater Special Operations Command (TSOC) Lessons Learned Specialist (LLS) to support the U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) J7 Lessons Learned Program. The TSOC-LLS supports U.S. Special Operations Command Korea (SOCKOR) in Seoul, Korea. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Lessons Learned (LL) SME; liaise with Component headquarters staff and subordinate organizations to assist in executing Lessons Learned Program (LLP) objectives.
Plan and synchronize Component LL priorities and lines of effort, including coordination and information sharing with other commands (Joint Staff, Services, Component commands).
Coordinate command-driven Before Action Reviews (BAR) for each event with objective analysis and identification of initial MDMP goals and objectives.
Conduct comprehensive DVRED activities post-OAI to identify immediate capability impacts and long-range effects on training and the employment and development of forces.
Ensure observations, insights, and lessons learned are archived into JLLIS for their respective commands and that data is accurate, relevant, and available.
Coordinate with the Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) to synchronize LL activities in support of GCC areas of operation.
Oversee TSOC LL processes, employing knowledge of TSOCs' current and historical staff roles, areas of responsibility, and subordinate organizations.
Incorporate TSOC senior-level guidance into LL planning and execution of engagements and exercises to resolve issues based on newly collected observations, insights, and lessons learned.
Manage TSOC Lessons Learned analytical studies involving programs or policies across the military Services and government agencies, leading to major adjustments to doctrine, policy, training, equipping, and organizing.
Meet regularly with TSOC military leadership to provide recommendations on focus-area studies, command synchronization efforts, and quarterly feedback.
Compile Before Action Reports, After Action Reports, Executive Summaries, Post Activity Bulletins, and Requests for Information that are complete, substantiated with findings and recommendations, distribution-ready, and consistent with a high level of quality control.
Conduct country analyses highlighting observations, insights, and lessons from previous engagements in support of the Joint Combined Exchange Training (JCET) program, including logistical and employment recommendations, completed 90 days before scheduled deployment.

Required Skills
Active Top Secret clearance.
BA/BS in Humanities, Science, Business, or Mathematics, OR prior service E8, CW3, or O4 in lieu of the education requirement.
7 years of prior service experience, including 2 years working with a Component staff as a staff officer/NCO supporting the DOTMLPF-P and SOFCIDS process.
1 year of experience using unclassified and classified collaborative communications systems (e.g., MS Teams, Zoom, or similar virtual meeting platforms).
Graduate of a Component-specific SOF qualification course, or the additional service requirement for the supported unit.
