- Position title: Consumer Marketing Lead
Role Summary
The Consumer Marketing Lead is responsible for guiding the development and implementation of local marketing strategies and plans to promote our propositions based on strong consumer insights. The role develops and executes a rolling 24-month marketing plan for key categories & consumer segments, collaborating with multi-functional teams and aligning with business and sales priorities.
The role is pivotal to bring consumer centricity and oversees a number of activities such as demand generation, market research, product and portfolio positioning, price and promotion strategies, trade marketing, merchandising, media, marcomm & eCommerce.
The role measures effectiveness and adapts marketing strategies to meet the business priorities and collaborates closely with relevant functions locally, regionally and globally. This role is on the local Management Team and is in charge of managing and developing a team of high-performing marketeers.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Delivers and implements a comprehensive marketing plan tailored to key consumer segments, ensuring alignment with business and sales priorities by leveraging the portfolio of offerings across various categories.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to contribute to an integrated planning cycle by ensuring strategic alignment, incorporating insights from various stakeholders, and adapting strategies to meet long-term business objectives.
- Enables consumer centric activation and omni-channel marketing to drive local marketing campaigns, ensuring that marketing efforts are targeted, effective, and aligned with both global strategies and local market needs.
- Champions the consistent execution of the Consumer Experience Journey across categories, ensuring team members maintain alignment with brand positioning and visual identity, while delivering seamless consumer engagement across local touchpoints.
- Leads all marketing activities associated with product launches and promotions , ensuring seamless execution and alignment with overall marketing strategy to maximise impact and drive market success.
- Leads the local portfolio, channelisation and price promotion strategies to maximise distribution, drive in market performance against competition and achieve business objectives.
- Oversees the strategic development and ongoing optimisation of local demand generation campaigns, monitors performance metrics, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance targeting, engagement, and conversion rates.
- Drives media planning and effectiveness via continuous ROI improvement, steering media briefings and delivering media plans including with relevant Joint Business Plan partners.
- Drives the elevation of consumer engagement by translating global strategies into locally relevant plans across the Consumer Experience Journey, including CRM, digital, merchandising and eCommerce.
- Leads the development and execution of trade marketing, education and merchandising strategies, meticulously adhering to brand standards, regulatory requirements, and industry benchmarks to strengthen brand equity and market presence.
- Leads and guides the marketing team to gather local insights (consumer, market, competition and trend) to drive actionable commercial strategies and facilitates the flow of relevant insights to global teams.
- Cultivates and nurtures external agency relationships, setting KPI’s and reviewing performance results in cooperation with procurement.
- Cultivates and nurtures relationships with key retail partners in collaboration with sales, negotiating mutually beneficial agreements and co-branded marketing initiatives that increase foot traffic, boost conversion rates, and elevate the overall shopper experience.
- Builds a culture of continuous learning and development, facilitating professional growth opportunities, managing performance and ensuring the marketing team is well-equipped to meet both current and future business challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree education level.
- More than 10 years of experience in senior-level marketing roles
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen and business judgment
- Extensive experience within the FMCG industry
Experience in e-commerce and an understanding of digital insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English
Excellent Communication skill & stakeholder management skill

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
