About the Role
We are looking for a Market Development Associate to join the Fabrics APAC Commercial team. In this role, you will act as the insight Engine and strategic compass in the region, shaping regional growth opportunity through analytics and foresight, driving regional growth process to explore, identify, evaluate and manage the growth opportunity funnels in collaboration with the cross functional teams, contributing to achieve the regional growth targets through efficient and effective practices.
This role will be located in Seoul, Korea.
Responsibilities
Report to the APAC Commercial Leader and be a member of APAC Commercial leadership team
Build a holistic view of the APAC regional market opportunities to inform priorities and resource allocation in both consumer and professional segments
Analyze the regional business within global market trends, macro forces, and competitive dynamics—across short-, mid-, and long-term horizons
Identify relevant regional insights along the value chain (Consumer, Market, Supply, competition) and drive the process to explore, identify, evaluate, align and manage the regional growth funnel within the global business strategy framework in collaboration with the X-functional team
Contribute analytical and strategic input to key regional projects and initiatives, including the annual strategic and operation planning process
Collaborate with global product BU strategic marketing to identify white space opportunities and technologies to direct innovation pipeline based on market opportunities
Partner closely with the global product BU strategic marketing team to advance market research, tools, best practices and data capabilities
Required Qualifications
Degree in business/marketing or equivalent experience
Minimum 7 years of regional experience in apparel strategic marketing & business development function
Proven track record of driving successful growth cases through insights and analytics
Expert in understanding market trends and insights, strong business acumen
Skilled in data analysis and project management
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong capability in working in a complex matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity
Strong written and verbal communication in English
Ability to travel up to 20%
