The Team
Due to the continued expansion of our Korea operations, A&M Korea is looking to hire a Staffing Manager. Based in Seoul, this position will report to the Office Manager and provide support across resource staffing and planning, talent operations, pipeline and WIP management, and various administrative initiatives. The role will work closely with project teams, leadership, and HR to ensure effective resource allocation and smooth day-to-day operations.
How You Will Contribute
You will drive end-to-end resource staffing and planning across projects and practices, ensuring the right resources are aligned with business needs. You will partner closely with project teams, leadership, and HR to manage staffing needs, talent operations, and resource risks, while supporting WIP management and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end resource staffing coordination: align consultant skill set, availability, career expectation with project demand raised by Project Managers & Practice Leads.
- Monitor resource supply & demand pipeline, track bench status, roll-off/roll-on timeline and leave/vacation schedules, conduct cross-project & cross-practice resource search and matching.
- Maintain accurate data in internal staffing records, update consultant allocation, forecast capacity, regularly generate resource occupancy reports for leadership review.
- Act as single point of contact for staffing queries; facilitate alignment among PM, practice leadership, consultants, and HR to resolve resource conflicts.
- Conduct resource planning, identify resource risks based on project demand and propose mitigation solutions.
- Continuously optimize scheduling workflow, track process bottlenecks, contribute to data dashboard enhancement.
- Update pipeline status and share with the Finance team on a regular basis.
- Experienced-Hire Interview Support - Support the interview process for experienced-hire recruitment.
- Performance Management - Provide staffing-based performance insights to management during the year-end review cycle.
- Talent Operations - Maintain and update employee records to ensure data accuracy and policy compliance.
- WIP Monitoring - Monitor WIP progress.
- Expert Call Vendor Management - Monitor the end-to-end vendor engagement process, including onboarding, contract review, and fee negotiations.
- Team Event Coordination - Support preparation and coordination of team events.
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 3+ years of experience in consulting staffing, resource scheduling, HR operations, or talent planning (consulting industry preferred).
- Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, PivotTable, data tracking); strong data sensitivity and attention to detail.
- Strong multi-tasking, prioritization, coordination and problem-solving capability under fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proactive and self-driven.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate complex interpersonal dynamics.
- Outgoing and confident; skilled at facilitating discussions and driving cross-functional alignment.
- Proven conflict resolution skills in high-pressure, multi-stakeholder settings.
- Ability to manage ad hoc tasks with minimal supervision and deliver results under tight timelines.
- Good written and verbal English for cross-team collaboration.
- Experience in management consulting project staffing is a plus.
