Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and motivated technology leader who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, thought leadership, and strong people management skills. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business challenges and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with sales, you will drive revenue growth across a broad set of enterprise customers in Korea.
As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud. You will have the opportunity to shape and execute a strategy to build mindshare and broad use of AWS across Korea's enterprise landscape.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a proven track record in leading technology consulting and sales organizations. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges.
You will be dynamic and creative, willing to take on any challenge and make a big impact. You will have a passion for educating, designing, and building cloud solutions for a diverse and challenging set of enterprise customers across industry segments. You will enjoy keeping your existing technical skills honed and developing new ones, making strong contributions to deep architecture discussions. You will regularly take part in deep-dive education and design exercises to create world-class solutions built on AWS.

Customer Advisory:
- Operate as an executive sponsor for strategic programs, projects, and customers
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders (CEO, CDO, CTO, CIO)
- Leverage global strategic programs and internal VP-level stakeholders to advance customer transformation

- Provide technical excellence across the organization

Scope
This role is the single-threaded owner of the Solutions Architect (SA) team in Korea, leading a multi-layered organization. You will be responsible for the entire customer segments across multiple industry verticals.
You will engage with customers throughout their AWS journey, considering technical and business trends across diverse industries to create and evolve technical strategies, shape and grow the SA organization, and influence strongly opinionated stakeholders inside AWS and at customer organizations.
The scope and complexity of this role continue to increase, and the pace of growth requires leading the team through this evolution, developing new leaders, and hiring top talent from the market.
This role collaborates closely with all sales teams to create and execute business plans that accelerate AWS adoption, exceed revenue goals, and drive customer satisfaction. Change management and expertise transfer are essential to ensure high standards for customer experience.
