Overview:
Element has an opportunity for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst. In this role, you will be a member of the FP&A Team who are responsible for managing the preparation of all of the forward looking financial reporting for the company. This ranges from various short and medium processes (Monthly, Quarterly Forecasts and Annual Budget) through to longer term strategic planning (5 Year Plan).
Core Responsibilities:
Responsibility, as part of the FP&A team, for all financial planning processes that the company undertakes
Use of Adaptive and become an administrator of the system along with the rest of the FP&A team
Provide direct support and financial analysis skills to the various Operational, Commercial and Functional teams in the Group in order to help drive top line revenue growth and overall profitability
Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure efficiency in all work streams and to help the team drive continual innovation and improvement in all current and future processes
To work closely with the Group Reporting Team to maintain a consistent ‘One Element’ approach to all Group Financial work streams
Active involvement in Quarterly Forecasting & Annual Budget processes, 13 week cash flow forecast (TWCF), Central Cost reporting and 5 year planning
Provide direct support to the Sector Executive Vice Presidents EVP’s their Finance and Operational teams and the Commercial heads through provision of analysis and financial data to help them focus on and leverage growth opportunities whilst also maximising cost efficiencies
Support the Group Commercial team by helping develop Customer Reporting (for Strategic, Key Accounts and all Other Customers) & facilitate CRM linkage to Adaptive to help the business track sales performance
Development of Dashboard reporting (via Adaptive Discovery) to supplement current outputs
Involvement in all pre and post-acquisition processes – including integration of legacy financial systems into Element systems
Skills / Qualifications:
ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
Experience of budgeting / forecasting would be advantageous
Proficient Microsoft Excel modelling skills and PowerPoint
Experience in use of Adaptive Insights, Oracle HFM, Microsoft Dynamics AX or Microsoft Navison experience would be a plus but not essential – full training will be provided
International group and Private Equity experience would be advantageous
Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to work and interact with all levels of personnel in the company
Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a continuously evolving environment
Be able to work across time zones and work with globally diverse cultures
Ability to work independently
Some international travel may be required (less than 5% of time)
