Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
The Enterprise AI Business Development Senior Manager will play a key role within the Data Center GPU Business Unit by driving AMD GPU adoption within key enterprise AI segments both for on-premise and cloud deployments. This role requires a technical-commercial hybrid who can engage deeply with customers on AI hardware and software solution architectures, understand their computational requirements, and position AMD Instinct platforms as the optimal solution across enterprise verticals including financial services, manufacturing, energy (oil & gas), and systems integrators.
THE PERSON:
You will be a technical sales or solutions-oriented professional who combines deep understanding of AI hardware platforms and enterprise software stacks with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to both engineers and senior business leaders.
- Technical depth: Strong understanding of datacenter GPU architecture, AI hardware platforms (GPU servers, HPC systems), and enterprise AI software stacks. Ability to architect and position full AI HW+SW solutions for customer workloads.
Industry background: Experience from systems companies, OEMs, system integrators (SIs), or HW-focused enterprises. Candidates from pure software firms without hardware exposure are less suited. Ideally has pitched AI/HW-based solutions to enterprise customers in verticals such as financial services, manufacturing, energy, or technology.
Business skills: Marketing and presentation, written and oral communication, commercial negotiation, cross-functional and people leadership skills
- Solution orientation: A credible technical resource who can work across AMD functions — sales, marketing, product management, AI software optimization, and silicon architecture — to successfully drive Instinct market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop deep understanding of target enterprise verticals (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, energy, systems integrators) and tailor AMD AI HW+SW solutions to their computational and business requirements
- Assess customer hardware and software requirements, configurations, and applications, and architect solutions accordingly
- Build partnerships with OEM, ODM, CSP, and SI customer acquisition and GTM teams to drive sell-through
- Develop and deliver technical training materials, demand-generation content, and coordinate proof-of-concept (POC) engagements
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Strong experience in the computing/AI industry, ideally from systems companies, OEMs, system integrators (SIs), or HW-focused firms selling HW-based AI solutions. Pure software backgrounds without hardware exposure are less suitable.

Technical sales, sales engineering, or solutions architecture background with experience pitching AI/HW solutions to enterprise customers

Domain expertise in one or more enterprise verticals (e.g., financial services, manufacturing, energy/oil & gas, systems integrators) is highly valued

Experience selling and marketing AI hardware platforms, GPU-accelerated solutions, and/or AI instances and services

Substantial experience in a customer-facing role across multiple functions within a large organization. Experience with Fortune 500 level enterprises is a plus

Knowledge of AI workloads and Enterprise SW stack

Understanding of datacenter, MDC, and channel business models

Existing network within the enterprise AI and/or HW ecosystem in Korea/Asia

Ability to multi-task and handle multiple simultaneous projects
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

BS, or higher, in Engineering (Computer or Electrical)
