We are seeking a Telecom Operations Engineer with deep expertise in SIP and VoIP to join our Korea-based team. In this role, you will support and expand the Amazon Connect telecommunications infrastructure one of the largest contact center voice platforms globally. You will work on an internally developed SIP-based call center platform that solves a common industry challenge in a novel, differentiated way. You will help expand our infrastructure to new global regions, support existing implementations, and innovate telecom network operations through tooling and process improvements that increase customer productivity. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-growing service and play a direct role in shaping the next generation of telecommunications infrastructure.
- This role participates in a weekend on-call rotation approximately once every two months to support operational excellence.

Key job responsibilities
- 서비스 수준 이슈, 통신사 오류, 고객 요청이 포함된 티켓 큐를 관리하며 Amazon Connect의 SIP/VoIP 통신 인프라의 운영 안정성을 책임지고, 명확한 커뮤니케이션과 신속한 대응을 통해 각 이슈를 해결합니다.
- 로그 분석, 패킷 캡처, 통신사 협업, 체계적인 근본 원인 분석(RCA)을 활용하여 통화 실패, 음질 저하, DTMF 문제, 발신자 ID 오류 등 복잡한 통신 이슈를 조사하고 해결합니다.
- 벤더 및 통신사와의 기술 협업을 주도하며, 에스컬레이션 및 트러블슈팅 세션을 포함해 고객을 대신하여 문제 해결까지 이끌어냅니다.
- 수동 운영을 줄이기 위한 자동화 및 스크립팅 프로젝트에 기여하고, 전문성을 확보한 영역에 대해 표준 운영 절차(SOP) 문서를 작성합니다.
- Own the operational health of Amazon Connect's SIP/VoIP telecommunications infrastructure by managing ticket queues containing service level issues, carrier errors, and customer requests — driving each to resolution with clear communication and urgency
- Investigate and resolve complex telecommunications incidents — including call failures, audio quality degradation, DTMF issues, and caller ID problems — using log analysis, packet captures, carrier coordination, and structured root cause analysis
- Drive vendor and carrier technical engagements, including escalations and troubleshooting sessions, pushing partners to resolution on behalf of customers
- Contribute to automation and scripting projects that reduce manual operational effort, and write Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation for areas where you have developed expertise
