The Brand Manager focuses on executing local marketing plans of the Maison they are in charge of, based on global strategies, managing specific advertising and promotion budgets, and collaborating with local Customer Marketing and Sales teams to drive brand desirability and growth in the local markets and contributing to the growth of North Asia Cluster.

How you will contribute…
Brand Planning
- Translate global brand strategy, positioning, and Maisons guidelines to local brand strategy. Propose product pipeline and long-term brand building programs in communication and alignment with Maisons strategy.
- Own master assets, define messaging, choose most relevant assets, and develop creative local guidelines and playbooks to inspire and brief local Customer Marketing Team and agencies.
- Develop annual marketing plans (Brand Plans) with clear objectives and sound strategies for specific brands and trade channels.
- Analyse market trends and activation results to propose actionable plans for driving growth.
- Interpret sales forecasts in collaboration with the local Sales Team and contribute to driving value and growth across North Asia Cluster.
- Monitor and report various aspects of brand performance through field visits, consumer intelligence research, and qualitative trade feedback.
Marketing Activation Execution
- Oversee the implementation of ATL marketing activations, events, and product launches, developing comprehensive marketing materials and tools.
- Collaborate closely with local Customer Marketing team with co-responsibility in defining key channels and local objectives for each Maison.
- Manage external agencies for program implementation and act as a Brand Guardian at consumer events and PR activations.
- Leverage digital platforms and build relationships with key press and KOLs to amplify brand activations and secure positive media coverage.
Advertising and Promotion
- Overall A&P budget ownership (ATL and partially BTL). Tracking, setting overarching priorities, and brand "Big Bets."
- Manage and track the A&P budget, prioritizing spending against brand priorities and growth opportunities, and monitor financial budget engagement with a yearly and quarterly horizon.
- Leading relationships with local agencies, activation, and PR partners and conversations with the Maisons.
- Oversee project management to ensure successful and timely completion of advertising and promotion initiatives.
Management & Collaborative Mindset
- Potentially manage 1 Assistant Brand Manager or have no direct reports, providing guidance and support as needed and growing future MH talents.
- Collaborate across departments and leverage team expertise while effectively navigating the Market/Maison/North Asia Cluster matrix and embodying company values.
- Think beyond the local market, apply a North Asia Mindset and seek proactively synergies with the other teams and markets within the cluster.
