Summary

This position is located at USAG Humphreys, River Bend Golf Course.

Clarification from the agency

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. U.S. citizens overseas under ordinary resident status are not eligible for appointment under the Status of Forces Agreement.

Duties

In a golf program, may act as Starter/Marshall, assures tee sheets run on time, assures maximum usage of available tee times by pairing singles and twosomes and threesomes, and assists golfers in need of playing partners.
Keeps flow of play moving on the golf course, and assists customers look for lost balls to keep play moving.
Assists in pulling up and staging the fleet for play, assists in washing and parking fleet when no longer needed for the day. May assist in picking driving range.
Provides facility and program information to patrons. Assists with simple repair and maintenance.

Requirements

Conditions of employment

Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
A one-year probationary period may be required.
Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2.
Incumbent may also required to complete a Tier 1 background investigation for a Common Access Card for physical access to federally-controlled facilities.
Physical exertion is involved in standing, walking, driving vehicles, bending and carrying objects up to 20 pounds.
Duties are primarily performed outdoors under varied weather conditions.
This position requires shift work to provide coverage on days, evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":

The incumbent must understand and apply golf course procedures and regulations pertaining to the position.
Ability and skill to handle a variety of different incidents and people.

Applicant meeting the Best Qualifying Criteria/Highly Preferred will be referred to the hiring manager. All other qualified applicants will be referred if requested by the hiring manager.

PCS Costs

Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.

Allowances and Differentials

This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid.
