About the team
The Global Business Solutions (GBS) team is responsible for the revenue growth of the TikTok business, and our teams include Sales, Marketing, Ops, Account Managers, Agency and partnerships.
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (GBS) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time.
- The Tech, Media & Services vertical works with some of the most dynamic companies across technology, media, entertainment, platforms and digital-first brands.
- This role is for someone who is energised by helping brands grow on TikTok, not just through media planning, but through creative ideas leveraging our full suite of Brand solutions, creator-led storytelling and culturally resonant campaigns that build brand presence and grow advertising investment.
- You will work closely with clients and internal teams to help brands understand how to show up on TikTok with confidence, authenticity and creative ambition. The right person sits at the intersection of brand, creative and media, someone who understands marketing objectives, can translate them into compelling TikTok opportunities, and can help clients move from experimentation to sustained growth.
- This is not a traditional account management role, nor a pure performance role. It is an opportunity to help shape how leading brands in Korea use TikTok to tell stories, build relevance and unlock new growth.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Tech, Media & Services clients to grow brand advertising investment on TikTok
- Develop a deep understanding of client business priorities, brand objectives and marketing challenges and translate them into compelling TikTok strategies across storytelling, creative development and creator collaboration
- Help clients build a distinctive voice on TikTok through culturally relevant, platform-native and creator-driven campaigns
- Lead strategic client conversations that connect brand ambition with TikTok's creative and cultural opportunities
- Identify opportunities to expand client investment by building confidence in TikTok as a brand-building platform
- Support campaign planning, execution and optimisation with a focus on brand impact, creative quality and long-term account growth
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Creative Strategy, Creator Solutions, Measurement and Product teams to deliver high-impact client solutions
- Bring market, category and cultural insights to clients — helping them identify emerging behaviours, formats and storytelling opportunities on TikTok
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree or above
2. 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, media, client solutions, account or creative strategy, or a related commercial role
3. Strong understanding of brand advertising, creative development and digital media
4. Ability to translate brand and business objectives into clear strategic recommendations
5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build trust and influence with clients
Preferred Qualifications
1. Background in brand strategy, creative strategy, content marketing, creator marketing or integrated media planning
2. Strong understanding of TikTok, creator culture and platform-native storytelling
3. Commercial mindset with a track record of growing client investment through brand-building and creative excellence
4. Proactive, entrepreneurial and excited to build something new in a dynamic, fast-moving market
