Responsibilities:
THE ROLE:
As an experienced technical leader, you will be responsible for driving engineering engagement with AMD's Korea-based suppliers. In this role, you will be the primary technical liaison between AMD and its Korea supplier base, ensuring that materials and components meet AMD's stringent requirements for performance, power, yield, and reliability.
This is a high-impact, externally facing position that requires a seasoned professional capable of influencing at both the engineering and executive levels within supplier organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as AMD's principal technical representative for all engineering interactions with Korea-based suppliers.

Lead structured technical discussions with supplier engineering teams to identify, diagnose, and resolve issues affecting materials and product quality.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure suppliers consistently meet AMD's performance, power efficiency, yield, and reliability specifications.

Manage escalations related to supplier technical issues, coordinating timely resolution while maintaining strong supplier relationships.

Represent AMD's technical interests in supplier reviews, audits, and joint development activities.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES:

Extensive years of experience in semiconductor, materials, or related technical fields, with direct experience working with Korea-based suppliers or supplier customers.

Proven track record of identifying and resolving complex technical issues in supplier deliverables (e.g., substrates, advanced packaging materials, chemicals, or related components).

Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly to both engineering and executive audiences.

Proficiency in Korean is highly desirable for engaging with Korea-based suppliers
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
