Strategic Leadership, Commercial Business Partnering & Performance Ownership
- Act as a Finance Business Partner to national management, shaping long-term financial strategies and providing actionable recommendations.
- Apply commercial acumen to negotiations, contract structures and terms to optimize margins and working capital, manage risk and protect profitability.
- Own financial evaluation of commercial decisions with the National Management Team, ensuring end-to-end impacts are transparent and aligned with business objectives.
- Drive financial ownership and cost consciousness across business and functional units and track performance against plans.
- Partner with operational and commercial leaders to deliver local and global strategic priorities aligned with the organization’s long-term vision.
- Develop financial models to validate targets and forecasts, guide resource allocation and assess performance in line with Corporate Finance guidance.
- Evaluate inorganic growth opportunities, lead financial due diligence and provide recommendations.
- Anticipate financial risks and opportunities and develop mitigation and growth strategies.
- Manage company financial resources and resource planning.
- Lead change initiatives across finance and the wider business, maintaining stakeholder engagement, performance continuity and strategic alignment.
Financial Analysis
- Own the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial statements, management reports and analyses.
- Manage cash flow, working capital and capital expenditure to optimize financial stability and efficiency.
- Oversee finance operations, including accounting, treasury, taxation, controlling, relevant procurement processes, payroll and financial reporting in line with the KN Global Finance Operating Model.
- Where finance processes are centralized in a GS/KC, retain accountability for quality and final resolution, coordinating with local and global finance functions.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Maintain internal controls and accounting guidelines to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with internal and statutory requirements.
- Liaise with KCs, auditors, regulatory authorities and legal teams on audits, compliance assessments and company secretarial obligations, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
- Drive process reviews and improvements in line with the finance operating model and GS/KC.
- Monitor regulatory and reporting developments and ensure readiness for emerging obligations.
- Hold signatory rights through directorship or power of attorney for all legal entities.
People Leadership, Talent Development & Training
- Lead the national finance team and foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Identify and develop high-potential talent through development plans and career pathways.
- Set performance expectations, conduct reviews, and provide coaching and development.
- Build succession plans for key finance roles.
- Oversee other functions, such as office administration, as defined by reporting lines.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in Korean and English.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional finance qualification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive Finance experience, including FP&A, business partnering, financial management, modelling and analysis.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, with a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, talent development and succession planning.
- Experience in the logistics sector or a comparable service industry preferred.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Strategic thinker with strong decision-making, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience leading organizational and process transformation while maintaining team performance.
- High level of accountability, ownership and results orientation.
