Rebellions' People Team is responsible for talent strategy across the entire organization, spanning our Korea headquarters and our overseas subsidiaries. Domestically, we manage the full range of HR functions, and with our overseas offices, we collaborate closely across time zones and cultural differences to support the HR needs of local employees.
Rebellions is building an HR system that meets global standards, so that colleagues from different backgrounds and languages can work under the same fair and thoughtful standards. To do this well, we are looking for a colleague with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Provide end-to-end HR support and operations for employees at our overseas subsidiaries
- Communicate and collaborate with local employees at our overseas subsidiaries on HR-related issues
- Establish and run efficient work processes
- Report on overseas subsidiary HR status and issues to executive leadership
- Develop global HR policies and adapt them to comply with local regulations at each subsidiary
- Plan and drive culture integration across overseas subsidiaries and employee engagement initiatives
- Manage HR data and prepare reports/dashboards for executive leadership
- 10+ years of hands-on HR experience (recruiting, HR operations, organizational development, compensation, employee relations, etc.)
- Business-level English proficiency, sufficient to communicate effectively with native English-speaking colleagues
- Experience preparing reports for, and communicating with, executive leadership
- A meticulous, detail-oriented approach to work and a strong sense of ownership
- Experience working with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds, or a deep understanding of and respect for cultural differences
- Ability to prioritize and manage schedules efficiently across time zones
- Strong cross-functional and cross-regional communication skills
- HR experience at an overseas subsidiary or a multinational organization
- An overseas degree or overseas residency experience
- Experience with global HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors)
- Understanding of labor laws and employment regulations in major countries
- Translation/interpretation experience or related language certifications (e.g., TEPS, OPIc, TOEIC Speaking)
- Experience supporting data-driven HR decision-making (HR Analytics)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Labor Attorney (Korea), PHR/SPHR)
