Job Title – Sr. DevOps Engineer

Seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be responsible for the successful and timely deployment of software applications in production environments. The role requires a deep understanding of deployment processes, automation, continuous integration, and deployment practices. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automating processes, improving efficiency, and delivering reliable software.
What you’ll do for us
Design and implement deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab, Ansible, Puppet, or similar to automate building, testing, and deployment processes.
Manage and maintain the infrastructure for deployment pipelines, including servers, databases, load balancers, and other resources.
Monitor the performance of applications deployed in production environments and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Ensure the security and compliance of the deployment process and applications, including implementing security measures such as SSL certificates, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements, ensure alignment with the development process, and support successful deployment.
Continuously improving deployment processes through automation, identifying and implementing opportunities for efficiency gains.
Provide support to customers and end-users as needed, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to deployed applications.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful and timely deployment of software applications.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for our platform.
Have the ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones.
Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
What you’ll have
Experience
5+ years of hands-on experience in at least one of the cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience in System administration and network.
Python, bash, power shell scripting expertise is a must.
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management or any other fields.
Skills
Having C#, .NET knowledge is helpful.
Understanding of core concepts of Windows, Linux for Administration, troubleshooting.
Adept at Configuration management: Ansible; Terraform, Chef, puppet.
Proficient in CI/CD: Jenkins or similar.
Docker; having familiarity with orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Nomad,Swarm is helpful
Elastic Cache cluster; familiarity in integrating with SIEM tools with ELK stack (elastic search, logstash, Kibana) is helpful.
Having basic knowledge about how databases work; MS SQL, Mongo.
Able to develop and debug Custom Integration service tasks.
Professional level of English required.
